You can ! I have done this before & will do it again this year !
I hope you can! What I do is cut all the foliage and spent branches off before it gets too cold and mulch/cover it up. Then just hope it comes back in the spring!!
I tried this with 19 plants last year. About 6 survived. No terracotta. Fries out too much over winter. Impossible to keep moist but not soaking bc it dries out too fast. Grow lamps really help. And cutting it back also helps. Not doing so almost ensures it dies by New Years. 😂 I wish you all the success. I’m doing it again this year with 3 plants I started from seed that decided Labor days was when I would FINALLY see blooms 🙄
